An independent tool that presents Korean business registration data published as open data by the National Tax Service, with explanatory material in English. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the National Tax Service or any Korean government body.

Results are returned directly from the National Tax Service and are reproduced without alteration. The interpretation and translation shown alongside them is this site’s own, provided in good faith, and may not capture every circumstance.

Records synchronise with the tax service roughly every thirty minutes, and a newly registered business can take one to two days to appear. A result therefore reflects the state of the records at the time of the query and may not reflect a very recent change.

Nothing here is legal, tax or accounting advice, and none of it is a credit or solvency assessment. Registration status is an administrative fact about a business, not an indication that it is a suitable counterparty. Decisions about contracts, payments and tax treatment should be taken with appropriately qualified advisers.

The checks are provided for legitimate business verification. Please do not use this site to compile records about individuals, to make automated bulk queries, or in any way that conflicts with the terms attached to the underlying open data.

The service depends on a third-party government API and is offered as-is, without guarantee of availability or uninterrupted operation. It may be unavailable when that API is.

To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for loss arising from reliance on information presented here. Verification reduces risk; it does not remove it, and the commercial decision remains yours.
